Vision Board

Above is my vision board for Vishnu's article on artificial intelligence and copyright. I chose the first picture with the man questioning everything including AI because throughout the article we are questioning our new technology of AI and how it fits within copyright laws. Whether it is copyright or is not? The copyright picture plays into this too because as we learned in the article, with emerging AI, there is copyright infringement going on with AI, but there are ways to combat it like legal level, making sure there are clear guidelines, so AI does not steal anyone's work. I added the bottom two pictures of a man supervising a worker, and an author. This is because we learned that with supervised AI, there are questions around copyright and whether co-contributors/authors should be credited when giving feedback to AI, as the AI then uses that material as its own. I am curious to hear everyone's opinions on this.

A well devised vision board. Your image choices and explanations offer interesting insight into how you view AI, creativity, and copyright. Your explanation about the image with the supervised AI raises an interesting question about the platform owner. What do we do with copyright and AI platform owner vs. human creator using the AI platform? Who owns the work?

Hello Skyla,

I enjoyed reading your analysis of Vishnu's article and really loved your vision board as I feel it provides an easier understanding for someone on the outside of this class to get a feel for how to go about AI Ownership. Overall, great perspective! - Anoshka Ramkumar

I love how your vision board helps explain your thought process and feelings on Vishnu's article. It does feel like artificial intelligence should be managed by copyright law, especially if AI used the art of an actual artist to generate art. I also like how Vishnu's article went in depth about artificial intelligence and how it ties into copyright law.

I really like how your pictures tell a story. One questions AI in copyrighting and another seems it is doing research learning more about the topic. The one with the magnifying glass was a little confusing but after you explained it I got it. Great job.
