In this class, we have explored many different topics regarding Artificial Intelligence and learning how to appropriately create multimodal compositions through the process of planning and designing these compositions. There has been an increasing presence of AI in academic and creative writings, and over this semester, we have read many articles about this topic. Overall, I think my perspective has shifted a bit. The rise of this presence is somewhat worrisome at times, though I believe if it is being used to amplify and enhance works, I think it could potentially be beneficial though the long-term effects being unknown is and AI potentially taking the place of real jobs is concerning.

Over the next five years within digital publishing, I think AI will evolve and start to take over the role of some publishing features like editing and design and creating images. To combat this, I think some skills or literacies digital writers and content creators will have to develop is prompt engineering when using AI to aid in work as well as just know how AI works and how to use it effectively and knowing its capabilities would be really important. Overall, in this class, we have learned so much about the evolving technology of AI and I have found it very influential to know this information for the future.
